Dr. Sean Aiken is from Atlanta, Georgia, and brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. Dr. Aiken was an NCAA Division 1 athlete and team captain at The College of William & Mary in Virginia where he lettered for four years in baseball. He is a member of the Wall of Fame at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School and was selected as a “40 Under 40” winner at William in Mary in 2022.
Dr. Aiken obtained a master’s degree from Louisville's Medical School in Physiology and Biophysics before continuing on to Louisville's Dental School where he earned an additional master's degree in Oral Biology and his DMD. While in school, Dr. Aiken earned the Community Outreach Scholarship and James C. Moore Scholarship for his academics and passion for community service. He is very involved with dentistry’s top professional organization, being chosen as the District 6 trustee for the New Dentist Committee of the American Dental Association in 2020. He was recently selected into the American College of Dentists which recognizes dentists who are “Advancing excellence, ethics, professionalism, and leadership in dentistry” and is the current President of the ULSD Alumni Association.
Dr. Aiken is an acclaimed lecturer for the American Student Dental Association and enjoys speaking to dental students around the country about office leadership and maintaining a private practice despite the entry of corporate dentistry and private equity in dentistry. When not at the office, he enjoys working on house projects and spending time with his wife, Taylor, daughter Charlotte, and their English Shepherd, Tucker.
