It is truly a pleasure to come here. I had my first appointment today, and truth be told- I don’t enjoy going to the dentist. HOWEVER, my experience at Aiken and Wilson couldn’t have been better. The staff is friendly, the office is spotless, and you can tell it is incredibly well run. My experience with Danielle, and Dr. Aiken was fantastic. Quite honestly the best experience I’ve ever had going to the dentist.

Doctor Aiken and his staff were fantastic. I called on Monday morning around 8:30 and they were able to see me by 9:30. The staff is professional. They listened to all my questions and never made me feel like they were in a rush to get me out of the door. Highly recommend.

After my dentist retired this past fall, I made the decision to see Aiken Dentistry and was so happy! From the first moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely Amanda. The soft, cozy waiting room didnt make you feel like you were in a medical practice at all! Danielle was my hygienist and was so thorough and friendly, I instantly felt like a friend/family. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Sean Aiken and was impressed by his friendliness as well as professionalism. What a fantastic practice and would highly recommend! Thank you!

I and my family are patients originally of Rebecca Tafel, DMD. Pam, my dental hygienist now for 10 years or so, is knowledgeable and always pursuing updated information about the constantly changing world of dentistry. I’ve had tricky dental conundrums and we’re a team figuring it out. She gave me possibly the best piece of advice ever. Don’t limit flossing to just 1x per day, floss often.

I had a wonderful experience here. My friend Abby (the best dental hygienist out there- but I’m also bias😉) recommended this place to me for a second opinion. I got an appointment within a day when a large, old filling fell out. I was seen promptly after my arrival, and treated with a lot of care and compassion by the dental assistant, Brandi, as well as Dr. Aiken, who was honest with me about the chances for that tooth. Wow! I visited today as a new patient for a cleaning and exam, and Dr. Aiken and Danielle were absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. Honest Dentists. Chill and cozy office. Went for a second opinion and now I’m making the switch to Aiken Family Denistry. My initial appointment was for a second opinion after receiving a shocking diagnosis and treatment plan from former Dentist. Former dentist said you need to get braces again (I wore braces for years as a teenager) or you will lose your front teeth. Plus have 6 cavities filled. Total cost around $10k. Aiken Family Denistry did an exam and full 3D scan of mouth. They recommended an ortho consult on how to proceed and advised that there no issues with fillings that needed immediate attention. I expected that the treatment plan from former dentist was highly aggressive, if not exaggerated. Aiken Family Denistry gave me peace of mind to avoid a huge lifestyle change (braces again) and sitting for repairs to several fillings that are simply “showing some signs of wear.”

Dr. Wilson and her team are so kind, compassionate, and really take the time to listen and take the best care of me and my teeth. Dr. Wilson and Brandy today took fabulous care in replacing a filling i had done by a previous dentist who didn’t get the filling quite right. She even triple checked that the filling was good to go and would not cause anymore trouble. Dr. Wilson and brandy are the best and I can not recommend them and Aiken Family Dentistry enough. Visited the practice for my bi-annual teeth cleaning. Staff knows my name, check in easy, Pam did a professional, efficient survey, completed the procedure, found a problem, called in Dr Wilson, who confirmed Pam's diagnosis and gave me the referral I needed. Cleaned and ready for the next step I headed for Dr Livesay. Made the appointment and I am 'good to go'. Main takeaways are the staff are knowledgeable and efficient plus they are happy working at the practice. The practice is 'humming' along. Good place to have your dental health cared for.

I have neglected going to dentist and was a little anxious. I was very warmly greeted by receptionist who invited me to have a seat. I had not even warmed seat up before Brandy came and greeted me like an old friend. We chatted and laughed about my window sticker, the Queen, as we went back. We chatted and then Brandy took Xrays. Dr. Wilson came in and assured me that we would come up with a plan to get my mouth healthy again. Then I met Abby, the Hygienist. We chatted and she cleaned my teeth and was very careful and persistent. You know how when you go to some dentists offices, there is a lot of chat going on? Here, the chat was all about me, no judgement about being neglectful but lots of reassurance that they will be able to take care of my teeth and get my mouth healthy again. It was really nice to feel as if I was the reason they were there. How often do you get to feel as if you are the most important person in the room? If you would rather let your teeth rot out of your mouth than go to the dentist, THIS is the place for you. I used to ignore reminder cards and cancel appointments thanks to a lifetime of torturous and scary dentists. But from the moment I stepped into Aiken, I was at ease. I explained my fear in depth in my intake forms thinking it would go unnoticed. Boy, it didn’t. Everyone in the office from the front desk staff to the hygienist to Dr. Wilson worked to make me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. They not only made me feel relaxed, but they never add me feel silly for being an adult woman who could burst into tears while they put the paper bib on and might sneak out a window at the sound of a drill. They have warm blankets, custom playlist and BRAVO on your personal TV. If they had given me a pedicure and a blowout, I couldn’t have been more comfortable. Every person gives detailed explanations as to what they will be doing and always, always make frequent checks on my comfort. Scheduling has always been easy, I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to be seen and they work quickly, but thoroughly. For more complicated procedures, Dr. Wilson thoughtfully explained additional anxiety management options and how it would impact my procedure before, during and after. Any time I have had something beyond a cleaning, the office reaches out to check on me the following day. Every single person I have encountered in this office is lovely. Their dental practice and knowledge is remarkable, but their bedside manner and empathy toward those of us who fear them is unparalleled. No more dodging reminders or saying, “I’ll go to the dentist next year.” I’ve moved my whole family to this practice and I hope you will, too.

Dr Wilson was my dentist and did a fabulous job. I had to have a bottom plate made and she done a fantastic job. When she put it in my mouth it fit perfectly. She didn’t have to adjust anything. That is almost never heard of. I’ve had it for seven months now and never had to have an adjustment. Aiken dentistry is A-1 service. You will never go wrong going to them with your business. I went in for a crown as told was necessary by the former dentist. This was my first experience with the new dentists and I was extremely impressed with her professionalism and bedside manner. After starting my procedure, she informed me that the fracture in my tooth was not as severe as expected and instead recommended transitioning to a less invasive (and less expensive) filling. I really appreciated her honesty and guidance. The whole experience was probably my best in this office and I will continue to go there even though they are out of network with my insurance and ultimately, it will cost me more. The level of service I received today will be well worth the added cost to myself!

I had a great experience at my dental cleaning appointment this morning. Sonya came out the side door to greet me. They’ve had to change their procedures because of the COVID-19. I felt very safe and she’s so easy to talk to. Dr Aiken came back to see me when she was finished. He did his exam and we were finished. It was very thorough and both of them remembered me and brought up different facts that made me feel like I was with old friends. In fact Sonya called me my friend several times during my exam. I was impressed by not only his outstanding leadership qualities, but also his passion for advocating for those in need and ability to unite others in the mission of creating meaningful change. Dr. Aiken is an excellent listener and cares deeply about providing the highest level of care. A few years ago we had the chance to serve together on a dental mission trip abroad, during which I was able to see his compassionate chairside manner first-hand.
